After imaging M1 in 2021 I remembered I also imaged the same object in 2007. Being a supernovae remnant obviously it would be expanding through that time. Could I see that expansion was the question on my mind.
Well, it would be easy to check that just with a simple image blink, so here it is.
What do you think ?? is it expanding or not ?
The first observation (2007) was made using a 12″ Meade SCT and a Sbig ST-8XME.
In the Second Observation (2021) a Celestron C14 SCT and a Sbig ST-10XME were used.
In the first image above we can see the differences in the structure occurred from the expansion.
